• AVPR: Aliens vs Predator - Requiem (2007) 2/10

  "People are dying, we need guns!" Unfortunately, this is about as good as the dialog in the movie gets. The screenwriting is HORRENDOUS! So the power goes out and what does the Sheriff decide to do? Evacuate the town. By that same token, the entire eastern seaboard should've been evacuated in 2003. This movie has a propensity for omniscient character -- those knowing more than they realistically should. It's a lame movie based on a lame, fanboy concept. What's next? A movie series based on Kirk vs. Picard? The highlight of the movie was it's special effect, which were... passable.

  Bolt is a really heart-warming tale of a dog who really believes his role in a movie -- super powers and all. And when he breaks out of the studio, he discovers that all is not as it seemed. I really thought this was a well-made film. The CGI is outstanding. But, most importantly, the story is very well written that keeps the viewers attention throughout the whole movie. It's a funny movie that leaves the viewer satisfied. Great for the kids too!

  Surprisingly lame and unfunny for having three comics in it. The plot is weak, predictable, and overall unconvincing in execution. It's a just a silly movie; let's not watch it.

  This humorous CGI-animated movie is good for the whole family. It's a funny, bright, and well-rounded movie that ends on a positive note. Only complain is that the plot seems to lack a certain depth resulting in a movie that seems to have ended after it's just begun. Otherwise, good fun.

  This is a fairly decent movie only if you can come to terms with one simple truth: It's not Bond. While the protagonist may share the same name as from the original movies, his conduct, behavior, technology, the plot... it's all too different from that of the original 007. There are no gizmos or gadgets and little technology worth mentioning. There's atleast more drama and intrigue than in the last Bond film, but it pales in comparison to the original. However, the plot, action, acting, and videography in and of themselves are very good and worthy of an honorable mention. While this may not be your father's Bond... it's still a good film nonetheless.

  Three words sum this up: WORST MOVIE EVER. If you can ever get past the horrible, wooden acting (and mind you, this is a big if), you're met with an array of laughable props/special effects, questionable military decisions, and just plain FAIL. On the uptick, the movie cover looks good. But, unless you be very, very brave... venture no farther!

  Nice concept, great special effects, fitting musical score, and an exciting plot with lots of twists and turns. The pace is steady, but seems to let the wind out of the sails a little too often. Still, an outstanding movie that's worth seeing.

  A classic movie about free will and self-determination for a self-aware robot. Even though this movie is over 20 years old, it's still enjoyable today. Don't expect fancy special effects.

  While being a mediocre movie, its still lends itself to having lines of memorable dialog being repeated long after viewing. The plot isn't overly thrilling or fast paced -- in fact, it's more reminiscent of taking a car ride... just waiting to get to the next part. Unfortunately, this movie never really seems to get there by the end. It just... ends. It's a good movie for those who like memorable quotes; a bad one for those who expect something from their movies.

  This movie operates on the premise that behind every hot, young, jailbait high school student is a prostitute waiting to come out. Of course, plot wise, this movie is rather shallow and unintriguing. However, some audiences (especial the male audiences) will definitely get some sort of kick out of it. Definitely not a movie for everyone; certainly not the kids!

  Wonderfully devious, this movie doesn't pull any punches. The special effects are top notch with no expenses spared. Heath Ledger gives a dementedly convincing performance as The Joker. This movie is a pleasant change of pace from the usual "well revered hero" Batman movies we had seen in the past. A pleasant change of pace.

  Yet another comicbook-turned-movie that came out this year. The Incredible Hulk is filled with rich special effects, action, and suspense. However, the movie does a poor job explaining the situation for those who haven't read the comics. Decent movie, but often confusing and difficult to understand some plot nuances without further explanation.

  Seldom do I actually regret watching a movie. Sadly, this movie is an exception. It was an utter waste of time -- dour acting, lame plot, questionable military decisions, flawed special effects, and cliche central! Not a recommended movie for, well, anyone.

  I came into this movie with high expectations after seeing the trailer. I left disappointed. This is a marginally funny, uninteresting movie that has few redeeming qualities. This movie is a rare miss for Mike Myers. Come to this movie with low expectations.

  For a movie with few lines of dialog, this movie fairs extremely well. In fact, it is a very enjoyable movie. This movie is based on a fresh, new concept with astonishingly well-crafted CGI to boot. However, the movie seems to run out of steam towards the end -- not to mention a seemingly unlikely recovery of a main character at the end.
